Meet the Dentist

Dr. Lihsih Annie Tang was born in Taiwan and raised in Wisconsin. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the California Institute of Technology and her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She went on to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency through NYU Lutheran Medical Center.

Dr. Tang believes great dentistry starts with listening. Her philosophy is that every patient deserves to feel heard, respected, and empowered to make informed decisions about their health. She views the patient-dentist relationship as a partnership, helping patients understand their unique needs and take an active role in their care within a welcoming, judgment-free environment. Her areas of focus include helping patients with complex concerns involving tooth wear, bite problems, TMJ disorders, headaches, and smile enhancement.

A lifelong learner, Dr. Tang has dedicated more than a thousand hours to continuing education throughout her career, including advanced training through the Kois Center. She is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD), a distinction achieved by only about 6% of dentists in the United States, and is an active participant in Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS), New England Master Track (NEMTP), and American Academy of Clear Aligners (AACA). She is committed to continually expanding her knowledge and skills so her patients can benefit from the latest advances in dentistry.

Outside the office, Dr. Tang is an unapologetic nerd who loves board games, D&D, and science fiction! If she’s not rolling the dice, she’s probably searching for her next favorite restaurant. Have a secret favorite restaurant that nobody else seems to know about? Dr. Tang is always looking for recommendations.
